Marseille, Day 2

We had a good day today where the breeze was up and the temperature was also high! The team are very shattered after their hard day's sailing.

We had 4 races during the day and they were some of the hardest races we have had for a while. We managed to pull off an 8th, 9th, 7th and 5th which leaves us 5th overall. Considering the conditions and the competition we all believed we sailed a great 4 races and are looking forward to the coastal races.

We had a phone call from someone saying they had been on the web site and it says we have to do an over night race, at this point everyone went silent and Nipper refused to sail. Doing offshore on a boat that leaks will be disgusting!! Luckily we don't have to as we're too small, phew.

After sailing we all drove our last energy to the bar to congratulate ourselves on our hard days work and say well done to everyone. We've got a late start tomorrow due to the increase of wind but hopefully it will drop down before that.
