Paint and varnish
Well, the boat is out and being painted; the inside is almost finished and awaiting varnish... Hope to have some photographs to show you the 'New and Improved' Checkmate XV soon!

Looks aren't everything...
Despite last minute launching, and bolting bits of hardware on before the first start on Friday, Nigel and the team managed 6 straight 1st places at the RORC Easter Challenge to win their class (IRC 4B).

The Checkmate Team returns....
OK, it's going to be a challenge, and we don't know yet what sailing we'll be doing in 2012, but buying a boat is a good start!

10-10-10... what another wedding?
With a month's notice to guests, Alasdair Green and Sue Ogg got married on the 10th October.
The bridal festivities included Groom v. Bride dinghy match racing, which was won fair and square by Sue!
